2026 Ride for Liberty Challenge

The Ride for Liberty Challenge is a nonpartisan nationwide relay of the United States of America’s sacred founding documents—the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights and Amendments—hand-to-hand across state lines, converging in Washington, D.C.

  • Mission: The challenge aims to pay tribute to American soldiers and social justice warriors whose sacrificed for the liberty of all Americans, regardless of race, religion, or background. 

  • Accept the Challenge: Riders can sign up on the Liberty Ride website to join a specific leg of the relay or Ride for Liberty as Nomad forging a path of their own .

  • Participation: While popular among motorcycle enthusiasts, motorcycles are not required. Anyone can participate using any mode of transport, including bicycles, classic cars, or even skateboards.

  • Annual Kick-off: The event officially begins on the first Sunday of May, designated as “Ride for Liberty for All Day”

  • Symbolic Ride:  The nationwide Kick off is the first Sunday of May  “Ride for Liberty for All Day,” whether a part of the relay or riding solo,  the Liberty Rides encourages motorcycle enthusiasts to put their passenger pegs down symbolically taking any civil rights hero they choose to, for a ride.  Putting pegs down and a photo of  your hero in your windshield and just ride with sacrifices made for liberty in your heart and on your mind.  Many participants choose to ride to locations of civil rights or historical importance to make the experience more resonant.

  • The Relay Route: Multiple relays run simultaneously across the United States.

  • Grand Finale: The challenge concludes with a final hand-off in Washington, D.C., during Constitution Week (September 17–23).
